Bassist Needed For 4 Piece Band - Leeds

Iin a band, with 2 other people and we need a bassist, we dont do covers and we only do originals, our influences are bands such as :-

The Kinks, Bowie, Beatles, Velvet Underground, Kings OF Leon, The Strokes, Joy divsion, Oasis, The Libertines, Rolling Stones, Dylan, Hendrix, Clash, The Jam, The Redwalls etc.

not really into alot of bands from this new "era" of indie thats sprouted into this landful from around the last 2 - 4 years, were into alot of older music with just a sprinkle of bands from around this time.

a little about us : -

Guitar/Vox : - Me (Paul) age 22
Guitar/Backing : - Barry - age 22
Drums : - Chris - (Brother), age 27,

we practice once or twice a week at Jam Studios rehersal rooms in Leeds, its pretty cheap so we go there, also if your intrested you can come around to mine or where ever through the week just to acoustic practice before band Jaming, it all depends on how dedicated you are as a person.

Were nice lads who have a lot of passion for music and want to procceed to get better, weve never gigged even though ive been playing guitar for around 7 years, the other guitarist 6 and the drummer around 8, weve also never had a bassist, ive tried teaching mates and so forth but no ones ever stuck it out, its also hard to find a bassist who's into the same kind of music haha, you probably know what i mean, so if you do decide to join it'l be all new to us gigging, we just really wanna get out and start gigging...

its up to you, what have you got to lose? you can come meet me, i'll show you a few tunes, if you dont like them you can say " yeh there good, ill call you later " and by that you mean ill never see you again LOL.
